We’re looking for a skilled, emotionally steady, hard-working EDDA who knows how to run a column, support the doctor, and keep the day moving smoothly... even when things get busy.
This is not an entry-level role.
(Pay based on experience and references with incentive opportunities)
This is for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and brings calm confidence to the operatory.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a clinical column efficiently and independently
- Assist the doctor with exams, restorations, crowns, oral surgery, and procedures
- Take high-quality X-rays, impressions, and assist with lab cases
- Prepare rooms, maintain flow, and protect the doctor’s time
- Perform clinical tasks such as making temps, packing cord, placing fillings, and managing the lab work for full mouth restoration cases
- Handle sterilization and operatory turnover with precision and consistency
- Support patients with clear communication, confidence, and kindness
- Keep things moving without chaos, rushing, or hand-holding
Who You Are
- EDDA trained (or equivalent such as EFDA required)
- A confident leader who takes ownership, sets the tone, and keeps things moving without creating tension.
- Clinically solid, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Calm under pressure and steady when the schedule gets tight
- Self-directed: you don’t wait to be told what needs to be done
- Eager to learn and dedicated to growing self and career
- Comfortable leading in the operatory and supporting the doctor proactively
- Friendly, confident, grounded, and professional with patients and teammates
- You take pride in doing things the right way
- Inspirational and able to EASILY and charismatically connect with others, naturally happy and upbeat/positive
- Naturally nurturing, fun, empathetic and kind
- Capable of multitasking, working hard/fast, and keeping a smile on your face through it all in order to thrive in this position
