SALARY AND BENEFITS:

The City of Florence Administrative team is seeking a new part-time Custodian/Maintenance Supervisor. The hourly rate ranges from $15.12-$17.52/hour, DOE, DOQ.

POSITION PURPOSE

Under the general supervision of the Administrative team, the Custodian/Maintenance Supervisor performs a variety of work related to the general operation and maintenance of City Hall. Semi-skilled tasks related to the repair and maintenance of restrooms, offices, break rooms, and other areas within City Hall are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean and maintain all facility areas (includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting vacuuming, organizing and other related tasks):
    • City Hall administration offices and building entrance
    • Council Chambers
    • Conference Room
    • Break Room(s)
    • Restroom(s)
    • Florence Police Department
    • Colorado State Patrol
  • Carry out special projects or tasks as advised
  • Inspect and conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections
  • Report any problems or issues with the building to the Administrative team
  • Maintain inventory of supplies (order as needed)
  • Other duties as assigned
