Job Type: Seasonal Full time, Hourly

Wage: $15.14 - $15.89/hr.  

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

The park is open year round and custodial staff is needed for all seasons. Standing, pulling, pushing, lifting and walking required. Customer service skills a plus. This is a temporary/seasonal position with flexible schedules, 32-40 hours per week.

The Royal Gorge Bridge Park is seeking a Custodian to maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the park and all if its facilities. This person should have some custodial experience, but will train, and the ability to work without supervision. The Custodian is part of the Park Services team and will report to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Clean restrooms, and maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness for all indoor and outdoor buildings.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays and all assigned shifts.
  • Housekeeping duties for the Airbnb overnight property at the park, a three bedroom home.
  • Include changing beds and overall maintenance of bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.
  • Keeping the park clean and clear of trash and debris.
  • Empty trash on a regular basis and as needed.
  • Window washing
  • Park, parking lot and road trash removal
  • Set up and breakdown of indoor and/or outdoor areas for public gatherings.
  • Drivers license is preferred, with the ability to drive a motorized cart or company vehicle.
  • Perform additional duties if Grounds staff needs assistance.
  • Must be 18 and have a drivers license with the ability to drive a motorized cart or company vehicle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Maintenance Manager.
