Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $46,257-$77,147/yr. 

Location: Florence, CO.

Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Colorado Counseling License
  • Ability to teach to the Colorado Counselor Standards
  • Previous work in a school setting or similar work experience preferred
  • Computer skills essential Good communication skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Successful completion of all mandated criminal background screenings and fingerprinting as required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • 171 day contract 8.5 hour workday
  • Work with grades, scheduling process, and records keeping
  • Coordinate assessments schedules
  • Provide services to students with special needs
  • Be a liaison between students, teachers, parents, community and other agencies
  • Personal/social counseling

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • Salary according to Master Agreement; can accept up to ten years of outside experience
  • Health insurance according to the Master Agreement
  • PERA, Medicare, Life Insurance Leave days according to the Master Agreement
