Hiring a Cook or Food Service Worker to join us in our kitchen and be part of our amazing team at Southern Peaks Regional Treatment Center in Canon City.

Cook duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customer

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends and Holidays as needed.
• Non-communicable diseases physical exam.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.
