Job Description

VeroTouch exists to change how homes are built.

We are a venture-backed construction technology company reimagining residential construction by combining advanced manufacturing, robotics, and traditional building expertise. At a time when housing affordability, labor shortages, and inefficiency continue to plague our industry, VeroTouch is focused on building better, faster, and smarter.

Our work sits at the intersection of construction and technology. We design and operate systems that integrate 3D printing, advanced materials, and lean production principles into real-world job sites. This is not a theoretical exercise. We are actively building homes, learning in real time, and turning those experiences into repeatable and scalable operating models.

VeroTouch is early-stage, hands-on, and execution-driven. The people who thrive here are builders in every sense of the word. They take ownership, stay calm under pressure, and care deeply about outcomes. If you are excited by challenges, energized by responsibility, and motivated by the opportunity to help define the future of an industry that rarely changes, you will feel at home here.

Position Summary

The Construction Team Technician is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for supporting and executing a variety of manual labor tasks across VeroTouch’s active job sites. This role is well-suited for someone with a solid work ethic and a background in construction or general labor who is eager to contribute to a fast-paced, purpose-driven team.

The Construction Team Technician works directly alongside the construction team on active job sites. The role emphasizes efficient execution, attention to detail, and a willingness to follow direction and adapt to evolving site conditions. Most training occurs on the job — a strong foundation in construction fundamentals is the starting point.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Site Labor and Maintenance

  • Execute general construction labor tasks efficiently as directed, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling and movement.
  • Operate a variety of heavy construction equipment, execute routine maintenance procedures, and perform basic diagnostics while adhering to strict safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and site-specific standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout all phases of the project to support operational efficiency and compliance.

Material Handling

  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment across job sites in support of daily production needs.
  • Handle and move raw materials and supplies to support ongoing operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of material usage and assist with inventory tracking.

Trade and Equipment Support

  • Assist skilled trades — including carpenters, operators, and concrete workers — as directed by lead technicians and supervisors.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
  • Support installation, repair, and maintenance of construction components as assigned.

Team Support

  • Collaborate effectively with the construction team, operations staff, and on-site crews to consistently achieve daily production goals.
  • Receive direction from lead technicians and supervisors and respond promptly and efficiently to evolving site conditions and priorities.
  • Demonstrate a proactive learning mindset and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as skills and experience develop.

Qualifications

Education

  • A proven work ethic and commitment to continuous learning — attributes that deliver results beyond formal education.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in construction, industrial labor, or a related technical field.
  • Proven hands-on experience operating construction tools and equipment in active job site environments.

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions with precision and execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Proven strong work ethic, exceptional reliability, and a proactive team-oriented mindset.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with demonstrated comfort and competence in working with tools, machinery, and technical equipment.
  • Strong technological proficiency and adaptability to digital tools and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to receive and provide clear, concise direction.
  • Genuine interest in construction technology, innovative building methods, and emerging industry advancements.
