Wage: $17-$19/hr. depending on experience

Location: Buena Vista, CO

Job Description

The Laborer advances the standard of job-site cleanliness/safety through the proactive upkeep of active projects, tools, and equipment. This person works within a team of trades people to assist in the execution of Fading West Construction Projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of a healthy team environment through proactive communication and respect for others on the team
  • Proactively maintain the job-site and shop by cleaning up hazards and debris in addition to maintaining safety fencing and signage
  • Embrace a supportive role to overall production demands of the site
  • Display a willingness to complete the assigned tasks to keep projects successfully hitting deadlines
  • Work independently by learning and utilizing standardized production processes and expectations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver license
  • Willingness to work as part of a unified team and engage in group process
  • Understanding of construction terms preferred
  • Proficiency with carpentry tools preferred

REQUIREMENTS

  • In-Person (this position cannot be performed remotely)
  • This role requires signing a confidentiality agreement, intellectual property rights agreement, and non-disclosure agreement
  • Background check results that meet Fading West’s standards
  • Reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicant
  • May be required to regularly stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, lift or carry more than 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be competent and comfortable in basic computer skills and navigating modern technology
