A Construction Journeyman/Mid-Career Construction Worker, brings valuable skills and experience to the forefront of modern construction. This opportunity focuses on post-print construction tasks for seasoned construction industry professionals eager for fresh challenges and growth opportunities. As a Construction Journeyman/Mid-Career Construction Worker, you are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of construction tasks, tools, and techniques. Experience with carpentry, masonry, concrete, roofing, and tiling preferred. Your expertise is crucial for executing tasks and ensuring quality work. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) VeroTouch requires that the applicant has sufficient ability to complete the required tasks outlined in essential duties/responsibilities along with the physical means and skills outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive construction production
  • Enforce safety protocols
  • Adapt to evolving construction practices, technologies, and project requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve construction challenges
  • Showcase advanced carpentry skills for precision and quality
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship in all construction activities
  • Collaborate with team for effective communication and project completion
  • Document construction progress: take photos, notes, and record data and create SOPs as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 3-6 years experience in construction preferred
  • Proven experience as a Construction Journeyman or in a mid-career construction role
  • Comprehensive background in various construction tasks, with a focus on carpentry
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, masonry, or cement a plus

Skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work both collaboratively and independently in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and construction methods
  • Flexibility to evolve in a startup environment
  • Proficiency in carpentry
