A Construction Expert brings extensive knowledge and leadership to every project, serving as a hands-on builder, mentor, and team leader. As a Construction Expert, you will leverage your expertise in construction methodologies, materials, and on-site production to manage the site and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Working closely with a dedicated Project Manager, you will focus on maintaining quality, safety, and innovation while inspiring and teaching junior team members and growing construction workers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) VeroTouch requires that the applicant has sufficient ability to complete the required tasks outlined in essential duties/responsibilities along with the physical means and skills outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manage on-site production and day-to-day operations for 3D-printed residential construction projects, ensuring they meet timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Utilize expert knowledge of construction methodologies to oversee and execute site activities effectively.
• Serve as a hands-on builder, setting a high standard of craftsmanship in carpentry, masonry, concrete work, roofing, tiling, and other construction techniques.
• Actively mentor and teach junior team members and growing construction workers, fostering their skill development and confidence.
• Build and nurture a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages communication, problem-solving, and mutual respect.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure adherence to project plans.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to align site operations with overall project goals and requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, integrating innovative practices and new technologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success.
• Document and share best practices to support continuous improvement and innovation in construction methods.
• Uphold a commitment to excellence and maintain a positive attitude that inspires the entire team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience
  • 5-10+ years experience in construction preferred
  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman, Superintendent, Independent Builder, General Contractor or senior-career construction role
  • Comprehensive background in various construction tasks, with a focus on carpentry and residential construction
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, masonry, or cement a plus
• Skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both collaboratively and independently in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and construction methods
  • Flexibility to evolve in a startup environment
