Job Description:

A Construction Expert brings extensive knowledge and proficiency to construction projects. This role is for seasoned construction industry professionals eager to tackle new challenges and pursue further career development. As a Construction Expert, you should comprehensively understand construction methodologies, materials, and project management practices. Your expertise is pivotal in overseeing various aspects of our 3D-printed residential construction projects, from planning and execution to quality control and safety compliance. Proficiency and experience with diverse construction techniques, including but not limited to carpentry, masonry, concrete work, roofing, and tiling, are required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) VeroTouch requires that the applicant has sufficient ability to complete the required tasks outlined in essential duties/responsibilities along with the physical means and skills outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee various aspects of 3D-printed residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies to plan and execute projects effectively
  • Ensure quality control and safety compliance throughout all stages of construction
  • Demonstrate proficiency in diverse construction techniques, including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, roofing, and tiling
  • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate tasks and optimize project outcomes
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, integrating innovative practices into project workflows
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success
  • Uphold a commitment to excellence in every project, striving for continuous improvement and innovation within the construction industry

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 5-10+ years experience in construction preferred
  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman, Superintendent, Independent Builder, General Contractor or senior-career construction role
  • Comprehensive background in various construction tasks, with a focus on carpentry and residential construction
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, masonry, or cement a plus

  • Ability to follow instructions and work both collaboratively and independently in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and construction methods
  • Flexibility to evolve in a startup environment
