Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $26-$33/hr.

Location: Salida, CO.

Job Description:

As a Construction Robotics Operator, you will play a key role in operating and maintaining cutting-edge 3D construction printing and concrete batching equipment. As this position is a cross-trained position, this includes the operation of advanced mobile concrete batching systems, robotic printers, pumps, sensors, and software interfaces. You will work as part of a small, multidisciplinary team to print residential single- and multi-family homes and develop innovative processes that industrialize the concrete construction process.


You will master precise material mixing, consistent production, and premium concrete quality under ACI and ASTM standards with guidance from professional engineers. With a keen eye for detail and an understanding of machine capabilities, you will ensure flawless system performance. Strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams are essential.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) VeroTouch requires that the applicant has sufficient ability to complete the required tasks outlined in essential duties/responsibilities along with the physical means and skills outlined below.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • 3D Printing Operations
    • Operate and maintain advanced 3D construction printing equipment for precise home printing.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to document processes and perform onsite diagnostics.
    • Monitor system performance, resolve technical issues, and implement continuous improvements.
    • Train and mentor team members as needed.
  • Concrete Batch Plant Operations
    • Operate and control the concrete batching plant, ensuring consistent and accurate mixes.
    • Conduct quality control checks on concrete samples to verify compliance with specifications.
    • Adjust equipment settings to maintain optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of batch plant operations and contribute to process improvements.
  • Maintenance and Quality Assurance
    • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including diagnostics and technical support.
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and participate in team meetings to stay updated on industry trends.
    • Generate performance reports and support the evolution of innovative construction methods

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferred)
  • Experience
    • 2 years of construction experience (preferred)
    • Knowledge of concrete batching, robotics, or 3D printing (preferred)
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in CAD, G-Code, and basic technical troubleshooting.
    • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to both give and receive direction.
    • A meticulous eye for detail and a results-driven approach to tasks.
    • Flexibility to evolve in a startup environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and quick response to operational challenges.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset to implement new ideas.
    • Technical and mechanical skill
