Primary Responsibility

Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, the CEPA Coordinator works in support of the Concurrent Enrollment program. The primary role is to support the partnership between the local school districts and CMC campuses, building relationships with school district personnel, coordinating all aspects of the CEPA program between the local school districts and CMC, identifying concurrent enrollment opportunities for students, coordinate enrollment and testing, and related duties.

Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards)

Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position. Examples may include a Bachelor’s and two years related experience, or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the functions of the position. 

Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: knowledge of concurrent enrollment programs, placement procedures and requirements, local high school and college operations desired. Knowledge of current office practices, procedures and equipment; basic technology applications; ability to work collaboratively with internal and external parties; experience with organizing and coordinating events; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; computer skills and proficiency with common software such as Microsoft Office.

Hiring range = $64,538.73 - $71,709.70 ($31.03 - $34.48 hourly) annual salary depending upon a combination of education and experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Pet insurance, retirement contribution, tuition reimbursement, annual & sick time, mental health resources, healthy lifestyle benefits, affordable transitional housing may be available to the successful candidate based on eligibility and availability, relocation if applicable. CMC utilizes a wage progression compensation model that accounts for a candidate’s skill and experience. Although a salary range is listed, salary will be set commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential Duties

  • Recruiting and registering CEPA students, including orientations, high school registration events, presentations, small and individual meetings and related events.

  • Share information about CMC services and programs.

  • Identify and promote concurrent enrollment opportunities for local school district students.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local school district personnel; serve as liaison between CMC campus and school districts.

  • Coordinate with CMC and local school district members with overall CEPA program coordination and support of academic success of CEPA students.

  • Scheduling, coordinating and monitoring standardized testing.

  • Records management, data entry and reporting.

  • Coordination with Accounts Manager on financial and or billing matters.

  • Monitoring and appropriate communication or coordination of grade reports.

  • Collaboration with others including campus personnel, CEPA and Testing Coordinators, local school district personnel.

  • Provide general technical, clerical and customer service support as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Received

This position reports to a designated campus administrator.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not supervise staff but may at times serve in a lead role in areas of expertise.

Special Conditions of Employment

Successful completion of a background check will be required as well as motor vehicles records report. Incumbents in this position will adhere to all safety and compliance policies of Colorado Mountain College while performing all duties assigned.

This position will be expected to travel within the designated service area to serve local school districts as well as within the CMC district/service area.

Working Conditions 

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs.  Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally.
