Position Summary:

The Compensation Analyst assists in the administration of compensation programs that align rewards with organizational goals. In conjunction with others on the Compensation team, they evaluate, analyze, and model competitiveness of base pay, incentive, variable, and equity programs and policies that differentiate us as an employer of choice. Essential Responsibilities:

Job Descriptions and Evaluation:

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to create new job descriptions, edits, and audits existing job descriptions, ensures all roles are classified correctly, and partners with Talent Acquisition on postings when necessary.
  • Conducts job evaluations and market benchmarking to maintain accurate salary ranges, structures, and job architecture across various job families, levels, and regions.

Compensation Analysis and Planning:

  • Conducts comprehensive analysis of compensation data for current employees as well as M&A integrations, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and equity, to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement; summarizes potential costs and develops initial recommendations.
  • Owns the data integrity and upkeep of the digital survey library including: Uploads current employee demographics on a biweekly basis.
  • Syncs digital library temporary job codes with actual job codes.
  • Project manages the annual survey participation process.
  • Leverages as much digital library functionality as we can including finding new efficiencies as improvements are rolled out.
  • Runs weekly/biweekly census reports from all global payroll/HRIS systems; evaluates and works with People Systems stakeholders to correct any data integrity issues.

Compensation Programs:

  • Administers compensation programs including annual salary increases, short-term incentives, and variable plans, and long-term incentive programs; responds to questions from all levels of employees throughout the organization.
  • Assists in Global Assignee program administration, including communicating to and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Proven experience as a Compensation Analyst or similar role, with at least three (3) years of progressive experience in data analysis and reporting; consulting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in using compensation survey tools (e.g., MarketPay), HRIS systems, and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, salary survey analysis, and market benchmarking.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively.
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of curiosity, urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to secure and deploy resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Progress towards professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar are preferred.

Compensation: Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $68,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
