Wage: $16-$16.70/hr.

Every child deserves a safe and loving home. When parents are unable to provide this on their own a Colorado Community Response (CCR) Home Visitor is available to assist those families.

The CCR is a voluntary program that provides prevention services to families who have been referred to the child welfare system, but ultimately are not required to engage in services. CCR assists families with goal setting, connecting them to resources in our community, providing one-time financial assistance and financial coaching, and helping build family relationships.

Requirements:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Understanding of family support and strengthening. Understanding trauma-informed care and trauma-informed response.
  • Experience working with multiple agencies/providers.
  • Divergent thinking when seeking resources, tools, and programs.
  • Ability to be a team player and work with diverse professionals.
  • Self-Confident with the ability to empower with non-judgment.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management/ organization skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent technological/computer skills and must be comfortable with managing different database systems and meeting multiple deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED, some college or continuing education preferred with preference to human services
  • Associate’s Degree preferred in social work, education, child development, or equivalent, with previous experience with young children, families, or home visits.
  • Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license and certificate of personal auto insurance on file.
