Job Description:

Station 24 Cafe is seeking a reliable and dedicated Coffee Shop Manager. Management experience preferred, but will train the right person. Must have good customer service, communication skills, and the ability to work well with others. Must be hard working while enjoying a fast paced and friendly environment. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and consistency while leading a team of baristas and kitchen staff members. This position is also eligible for tips on top of the listed wage when performing barista duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes cleanliness, customer service, quality, and consistency.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Oversee kitchen operations by ensuring food quality, consistency and by adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the owners to promote café offerings and special events.

Experience

• Strong leadership skills in motivating and managing a diverse staff is required.
• Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is preferred.
• Experience in training development, supervising staff, and conducting interviews is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with customers and staff.
