Role Overview

A Clinic Supervisor (RN) works within the scope of their nursing practice to deliver quality patient care in a clinical setting, collaborating with physicians, specialists, and care teams to support both short-term and long-term patient needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise nursing staff within your designated area, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care.
  • Assume responsibility for the overall function of the department in the absence of the manager, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Mentor and guide nursing staff, offering leadership development and support to current and new team members.
  • Coordinate and execute ongoing staff education programs, promoting professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Serve as a role model for nursing staff, demonstrating expertise in clinical practice and patient care.
  • Utilize problem-solving techniques to resolve conflicts and encourage team development.
  • Maintain a calm, safe, and efficient work environment, ensuring the well-being of both staff and patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Address and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring consistent care delivery and fostering a positive team environment.

 Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.

Prefer BSN; experience in a similar clinic setting preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.  

BLS Certification required.
