| Description | Climbing Gym Attendant Telluride Parks & Recreation Department Winter Seasonal Employment Pay Rate: $25/hr *Note: Seasonal employees are eligible for an end of season bonus of $1.00/hr worked if full season completed. Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (some or all), December - March, approximately 7:00pm - 10:00pm. Job Responsibilities: greet and check-in patrons, Active Net point of sale system, manage waiver completion, communicate facility rules, inspect patron equipment, administer belay and auto belay tests, gym supervision, enforcement of gym policies and standard climbing practices, perform facility inspections and record keeping, and keeping the gym clean. Requirements: Applicants must have good communication and customer service skills, personal climbing experience including top rope belay methods and knowledge of climbing specific equipment, possess current CPR and First Aid certifications, and able to lift 50 pounds.
