BV Overlook is seeking dependable, sociable, and driven individuals to join our Housekeeping team for the upcoming Summer 2024 season! As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our accommodations and shared spaces, ensuring a top-notch guest experience.

PT: hours range from 12 - 25 hours depending on property demands.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Be yourself and genuinely care about each interaction you have.
  • Comply with all Park operating policies and procedures.
  • Understand that the cleanliness of accommodations is of high importance to service levels.
  • Responsibilities involve cleaning tiny homes, cabins and other accommodations and includes, but not limited to, replacing soiled linen and towels, restocking home supplies such as soap and tissues, disinfecting bathroom and kitchen surfaces, dusting and polishing furniture, removing all trash, vacuuming carpets/rugs, and washing any uncarpeted floors.
  • Additional tasks include cleaning door glass and interior windows and well as arranging and cleaning patio/deck space.
  • Responsible for disposal of trash and waste found in accommodations.
  • Use safety precautions and always follow instructed chemical use.
  • Report any needed repairs immediately to the General Manager or on property Maintenance team members.
  • Adhere to Park standards for cleanliness, timeliness, checklists, and training guides.
  • Ability to follow instructions and prioritization of tasks with little supervision.
  • Bring all questions, comments, or concerns to the General Manager/MOD/Lead.
  • May be tasked to help clean common spaces. Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
  • Assist with other duties as requested or assigned.

Supervisory & Training responsibilities: This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and/or skill required.

Able To:

  • Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Remain calm under pressure or in the face of an emergency.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedures manuals.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision.
  • Work independently or in a team environment and take direction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to use standard cleaning equipment, such as brooms, vacuums, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Stamina to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, squat, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Agility to perform services over extended periods.
  • Must frequently lift, carry, and/or move up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Must occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 50-75 pounds.
  • Must be able to maintain a fast, efficient pace.
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person, on the radio, or over the telephone.
