Job Description:
The position of Child Welfare Support Team Supervisor will provide direct supervision to assigned team members - including but not limited to youth services caseworkers, outreach workers, placement team caseworkers and school-based caseworkers. This Supervisor will oversee and manage any assigned programs and/or grants and will have a firm understanding of these varying program areas overseen. Assigns and manages workload assignments; reviews cases and reports for compliance with standards and court orders; prepares performance evaluations; trains, supervises, coaches staff and initiates corrective actions when needed. Collaboration, cooperation, and coordination with other teams and agencies on cases, placement, and services. Problem solving; utilizes automated systems; collects data; prepares written reports. Acts as a liaison with any assigned State, County, Inter-Department, and/or Community-Based workgroups and/or programs. Works well within a team, encourages values of the agency and a positive environment. Uses data to make decisions and is fiscally aware and responsible. Participates with administration and peers on issues impacting the Child Welfare Team as a whole. Represents the agency as assigned on community and/or state partnerships committees, boards and workgroups. Supervisor backup for on-call and intake as needed.
This is a full time exempt position with a biweekly wage range of $2,923.07 to $3,692.30, an annual equivalent of $76,000 to $96,000, DOQ.
