Job Description:

Chaffee County Department of Human Services seeks a Child Support Supervisor. This position is responsible for overseeing a team of child support professionals, managing daily operations, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role combines direct staff supervision, case management, policy implementation, and program oversight. The supervisor supports a balanced caseload, leads team development, and serves as a subject matter expert in child support and public assistance eligibility. Key responsibilities include performance management, legal and investigative support, workflow optimization, and interagency collaboration. The position requires strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of Colorado child support statutes and administrative procedures. Must have a high school diploma, 4 years of child support experience, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.

This is a full-time exempt position with a biweekly salary range of $2,223.53 to $2,779.42 (annual equivalent of $57,812 to $72,265), DOE. Benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability, HDHP health savings account with county contribution, paid sick, vacation and personal leave, holidays, and "birthday holiday", EAP, retirement plan with county contribution, and wellness program incentives.
