Job Description

Chaffee County Human Services has an immediate opening for a Childcare Coordinator/Work Force Development Coordinator. The Childcare Coordinator conducts duties associated with establishing eligibility for receipt of the Colorado Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP); interprets rules and regulations, as statutorily promulgated, inputs applications, redeterminations and other documents received in State-prescribed computer systems to determine and maintain eligibility for public assistance programs offered. The Work Force Development Coordinator duties ensure that all Colorado Works recipients are engaged in activities that will improve their employability.

Duties include, but not limited to, completing individualized assessments and plans, providing ongoing case management support, and completing computer data entry.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent plus any higher education required, computer skills.

Annual salary range is $42,000 to $63,000 DOQ; benefits include medical, dental, prescription, vision and life insurance, retirement plan, disability, paid leave time and holidays.
