Progressive Care Center is seeking a Charge Nurse to join our team!

*** $7,500 Bonus for Full-Time RN***

*** $5,000 Bonus for Full-Time LPN***

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, overseeing the nursing staff, and ensuring efficient operations within the unit. Your strong leadership abilities and clinical expertise will contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise, lead, and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, ensuring proper assignment of duties and adherence to established protocols

- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established policies and procedures

- Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes or abnormalities to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care

- Provide guidance and support to the nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

-Educate patients and their families on various health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective strategies

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in nursing practices, technologies, and regulations through continuous professional development

- Have a open and flexible scheduled to help cover halls when needed.

Qualifications:

- Valid nurse (RN or LPN) license in Colorado

- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks

- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare software

- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care

- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment

- BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) are a plus
