• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Assist with food preparation and food safety practices to ensure quality and sanitation standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and managing food safety protocols
• Support the kitchen team with food prep tasks when needed, ensuring smooth service flow
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafés
• Strong cash handling skills with familiarity in POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and food industry transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for assisting with food prep tasks
• Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods seamlessly
