Position Summary:
The Campaign Solutions Marketing Manager is a key player on the America's marketing team, driving the Go-to-Market strategy for Pax8's largest vendor partner, Microsoft. This role centers on creating and executing innovative marketing plans across the five Microsoft cloud functions: Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Security, and Power Platform.
The Campaign Solutions Marketing Manager is a data-driven, curious marketer with a passion for influencing outcomes. They are the go-to advisor on marketing strategy and Go-to-Market (GTM) execution for the Microsoft partnership in the Americas. In this role, the Campaign Solutions Marketing Manager is responsible for providing strategy, insight, and execution that supports consistent growth through new acquisition, cross-sell and upsell, and retention motions. They thrive on building targeted marketing strategies that drive growth and lean into continuous optimization through audience segmentation, journey mapping, and market positioning.
Cross-functional leadership abilities and strong communication skills are essential. In this role, collaboration is critical for success. The Campaign Solutions Marketing Manager will effectively navigate relationships with the Global and Regional Microsoft teams within Pax8, the Project Management Office (PMO), Marketing Operations, Corporate Marketing, Partner Experience (PX), and the delivery teams of America's Marketing. This position will also interact directly with Microsoft resources. Additionally, this role leads the way for other regions to mirror strategy and execution.
When it comes to marketing experience, the Campaign Solutions Marketing Manager brings proven experience executing marketing efforts in a B2B environment, with B2B2C experience as a strong plus. They have a strong understanding of marketing delivery mechanisms, including Demand Marketing, Field Marketing, and Channel Events.
To be successful in this role, the Campaign Solutions Marketing Manager must be comfortable in an agile environment, naturally curious, and seek the art of the possible while managing capacity and budget targets. They should be driven by performance metrics and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
Essential Responsibilities:
- Uses a strategic mindset and insights-driven counsel to develop integrated GTM marketing plans and oversees end-to-end management of campaign strategy with clear communication around return on investment (ROI) expectations and performance to all stakeholders and SMEs.
- Strategically evaluates and optimizes marketing performance across marketing efforts using data-driven insights to elevate and enhance results across audiences, product mix, and clouds; and delivers consistent performance readouts to the key stakeholders.
- Thoughtfully curates and understands segment strategy and application to marketing across the marketing funnel and partner journey to build effective assets that drive the GTM motions.
- Develops near-expert-level understanding of solution category, including, but not limited to, competitive landscape, emerging trends, and cross-solution integration.
- Regularly attends stakeholder meetings, NBR and EBR meetings and is prepared to present strategy and output of performance, while offering suggestions for accelerations.
- Attends key events and programs to stay updated on emerging thought leadership within the channel.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- 6-8+ years of B2B marketing experience in a technology-based environment, with proven experience in a Campaign Solutions or Campaign Management role. Experience supporting Microsoft solutions a strong plus.
- Demonstrated experience creating and delivering strategic GTM plans using large data sets to identify white space opportunity, target audience details, and overall campaign performance KPIs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects in a cross-functional work environment.
- Ability to think strategically while also executing daily deliverables with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and persuasive speaking skills to various stakeholder levels with experience pitching marketing concepts, accepting feedback, implementing ideas, and reporting outcomes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects in a cross-functional work environment.
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with marketing and project management software (Workfront, Miro, Salesforce, and Marketo a plus).
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, in a late-stage start-up culture.
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $105,000 to $130,000, or more depending on experience.
