Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of Katie’s Pub and dining areas. Ensure all chairs, floors, and work areas are clean and presentable
- Maintaining, stocking and cleaning workstations throughout the shift.
- Responsible for clearing and resetting tables when guests have finished dining.
- Polishing silverware and glassware throughout the shift.
- Sweep and scrub floors
- Assist the Bartender when needed, Cleaning glassware, running food and retrieving items when necessary.
- Clear tables when guests have completed their meals or beverages as well as after leaving their tables
- Respond to guests who are dissatisfied and notify a server as soon as possible
- Work closely with fellow employees to ensure smooth and fast service to our guests
- Follow opening, closing and daily on-going procedures and checklist, such as floor swept/mopped, counters wiped, sink and dishwasher clean, garbage and recycling taken out as needed/or the end of shift
- Respond to guests who are dissatisfied and notify a server/supervisor as soon as possible
- Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 14+ years old
- Required to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays and may be required to work overtime
- Ability to take direction and perform duties efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely with guests and employees alike
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Good interpersonal skills
Working conditions
The Dining Busser position is based primarily inside, but may also be outside exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (10,500+ feet).
Physical requirements
Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift objects that may be heavy.
Seasonal Status
This Position is a seasonal position with an expected season of early December through early-mid April. Employment in subsequent seasons is not guaranteed. Be sure to speak with your supervisor if you desire to return next season.
