Position Summary:
The Business Central Consultant L3 is a partner and end user-facing role, with responsibility for bringing Dynamics Business Central and Power Platform expertise to partner and end users. They focus on delivering Dynamics 365 Business Central projects for core modules and third-party apps independently, stretch themselves to deliver unfamiliar areas of Business Central with support, create in-depth content, and write change request scopes, where a partner and/or end user requires a modification. They are also the second consultant escalation point for partner and end-user helpdesk queries, dealing with more complex issues. They demonstrate a broad understanding of business and accounting practices, coaching partners and/or end users to make the right decision for their use of Business Central, not afraid to challenge the status quo. They work independently but know when they have reached the limit of their knowledge, and when to ask for a second opinion.
The Business Central Consultant L3 contributes to an environment of collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing with peers. They also take responsibility for independently improving their knowledge of the BC application, the Power Platform, their general business acumen, and their general understanding of accounting.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver, or assist in the delivery, of client work, such as pack work, development scoping, or training.
- Resolve ‘Consultant Escalation’ tickets (tickets escalated from L1 and L2 consultants).
- Manage additional activities resulting from partners and/or end users facing work (“overflow time”).
- Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programs, receiving peer or manager coaching, and taking on stretch projects or on-the-job training.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience in supporting partners and/or end users with Dynamics 365 Business Central issues.
- At least three (3) to five (5) years) of the following areas of Business Central:
- Core Finance/Sales/Purchase
- Fixed Assets
- Third-party apps routinely deployed
- Writing well-crafted BC development scopes
- Data structure
- At least three (3) years of experience delivering Business Central consultancy.
- At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the following:
- Inventory management in BC (Inventory and Advanced Inventory)
- Assembly management in BC
- Warehouse in BC
- Power BI and Power Automate, in the context of BC
- At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in the following:
- D365 Sales Pro and D365 Sales, and its integration to BC
- Planning in BC
- Production management in BC
- Substantial experience in using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other team project management platforms.
- Ability to step back from a partner and/or end user requirement to look at the bigger picture.
- Ability to run calls, and training sessions with partner and/or end user.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in English and other relevant languages depending on the market.

- Communicates Effectively: Articulating clear ideas when communicating verbally and in writing, with internal stakeholders, partners, and/or end users.

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience. (Finance/business qualification highly desirable)
- Microsoft MB800 and PL900 certifications required.
- MB210 and PL200 certifications desirable.
- Other certification requirements may arise during the course of employment.
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range between $96,000/yr- $120,000/yr or more depending on experience
