Job Description:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time Bus Driver to transport youth from Longfellow Elementary School to the Salida Club.
Schedule:
During the school year, this position is approximately 1.5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, in the afternoons. Summer hours are flexible, with the opportunity for hours through field trip transportation if desired.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operating a Club vehicle to transport youth from Longfellow Elementary to the Salida Club
- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers and following all traffic laws and Club policies
- Building positive, professional relationships with youth and staff
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and CDL
- Clean driving record
- Experience working with youth preferred
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
