Job Description:
The Chaffee County BOCC and the Building Safety Department are accepting applications for a full-time Electrical Inspector/ Building Inspector in the Building Department.
This position requires a valid Colorado driver’s license with good driving record, a current Colorado Journeyman license, 2-4 years of working in the electrical field and experience as an inspector or related construction and/or design experience. The applicant must obtain certification through the ICC as a Residential Building Inspector within 1 year of employment. Applicant must satisfactorily pass a pre-employment range motion screening as well as a drug screening.
Annual salary is $54,000 - $63,000 ($25.96 to $30.29 per hour); benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription, and term life insurances, a retirement plan, disability insurance, paid leave time and holidays.
Work week is 40 hours per week Monday – Thursday, 7AM – 6:00PM with 1 hour for lunch.
