Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team part-time at the Salida Coffee Caboose! As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memoriable experience for the customers that drive-thru/walk-up to the Caboose while delivering high-quality beverages and exceptional service. You will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, food, tea, and other beverages.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate the espresso machine and other equipment with precision to ensure quality drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work atmosphere and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements: MUST be availble to work weekends. We are hiring to fill the Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
