Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Server to join our team in providing exceptional service in a lively and casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in bar- dining settings, excellent customer service skills, and a strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality atmosphere, engaging with guests and ensuring their experience is memorable. Prior experience in food handling, catering, or banquet service is highly valued, along with a background in the food industry or restaurant experience. A passion for hospitality and food safety is essential to succeed in this role.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and take their beverage orders with attention to detail.
  • Serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety.
  • Assist with food preparation when necessary, including garnishing and plating.
  • Ensure all beverages are prepared according to company standards and health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Refill supplies as needed and restock bar inventory during shifts.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu items to enhance guest experience.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
  • Uphold food safety standards and sanitation procedures at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service, especially within fine dining, banquet, catering, or hospitality environments.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and hygiene practices.
  • Experience working as a bartender or barista is preferred but not required; relevant training will be provided if necessary.
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry.
