Position Summary:

The Technical Services Application Lifecycle Manager is responsible for the support and continuous improvement of Application Lifecycle Management (intake, trials, POC, renewals, off-boarding, acquisitions) coordination and governance.

This role will be a member of a small team which serve as the main point of contact for all application intake at Pax8 overseeing on-boarding and purchasing activities. He/She will work closely with the Procurement Manager as well as 3rd party vendors to qualify application requests, perform research and analysis as needed, assuring application intake processes are effectively performed. Assure compliance and governance are properly tracked and aligned with Security Operations, Compliance and Legal teams. Supporting accuracy of Inventory, Contracts, Actuals aligned to Budget by creating and maintaining reports, holding owners accountable to task. Build reports/dashboards which assist in the development of process/procedure creation and improvement. Conduct research and analysis on markets/ vendors and products, producing official analysis for stakeholder review

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the Application Lifecycle Management Framework (intake, trials, poc, renewals, off-boarding, acquisitions) coordination and governance
  • Assure compliance of process and procedures by gathering requirements from stakeholders, managing expectations and timelines through the coordination of discovery meetings continuing through project implementation
  • Supporting accuracy of Inventory, Contracts, Actuals aligned to Budget by creating and maintaining reports, holding owners accountable to tasks
  • Assist in the development of process/procedure creating and improvement
  • Conduct research and analysis on markets/vendors and products, producing official analysis for stakeholder review
  • Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programs, receiving peer or manager coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least two (2) years' experience in process governance or program management
  • At least one (1) year experience supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting practices
  • At least two (2) years experience in evaluation of SaaS and Software markets and vendors
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, emotional intelligence, and communication skills to liaise effectively with project stakeholders across the organization considering opposing viewpoints and cultural differences.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and Data analysis skills assuring compliance across our Application Lifecycle Management processes.
  • Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communication skills in order to collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Strong time management skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Effective with cost control management through efficient governance of processes.
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Sharp, disciplined, self-starter with the ability to work well independently or as part of a project team

Required Education Certifications:

  • B.S./B.A. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL 4 Foundations and PMP

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $90,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
