Job Description:

The Town of Buena Vista Airport is hiring two employees as Airport Flight Line Technicians.

Love working outside and have experience with heavy equipment or aircraft? The Town of Buena Vista is seeking an energetic, well-organized person to serve as a permanent, part-time Flight Line Technician at the Airport. Once trained, this position enjoys a large degree of autonomy and must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. Performs a variety of duties related to providing services to general aviation aircraft, crews, and passengers including heavy equipment operation (snow plowing) and maintenance, aircraft fueling, recordkeeping, and collection of fees. The position requires a positive attitude, enthusiasm for responsive customer service, and meticulous attention to detail to safely work around aircraft and maintain logs and records.

Position requires employee to be “on call” outside of normal business hours a few nights a week. Must be prepared to work weekends and on some holidays (rotates with other Line Tech staff). Additional pay for after hours, on call, and holidays is provided.

• Wage Range: $22.12 - $29.33 per hour
• Starting Wage Range: $24.00-$25.00 for experienced applicants
