Wage: $51,000-$57,000/yr.

Job Description:

Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is seeking a qualified individual with solid management experience to manage all aspects of the Admissions department. Important qualifications include leadership, integrity and ability to handle large amounts of money. As department head manager, this position will hire, train, and coach all Admissions staff, maintain all equipment and supply needs, and foster excellent customer service for all park guests. The Admissions Manager will be working with a staff of up to 20 or more cashiers and gate entrance for several thousand guests. This is a fulltime position with benefits, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Vacation and Sick time. The posted wage range for this position is $51,000 to $57,000 per year.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to perform all the Admissions Cashier and Admissions Assistant Manager essential job functions, and train new hires to fill those positions.
  • Management of all Admissions staff, including scheduling, hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and terminating.
  • Staff the park for 7 days per week including holidays.
  • Work both independently and in team settings using effective time management and decision-making skills.
  • Must have computer skills to operate company software programs including point-of-sale system, Microsoft Office, Google docs, or other software programs in use. Computer Troubleshooting skills are a necessity.
  • Responsible for PAR (cash register) inventory, repairs and updates.
  • Responsible for CPI employee training.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
  • Build budget, follow budgeting guidelines, monitor fiscal year financials for the department.
  • System Administration for the Point-of-Sale software (Gateway). Manage all Chart of accounts, ticket creation, price changes, discounts, reporting, and be main contact for Gateway support.
  • Website updating and improvements, sales channels, manage online webstore.
  • Pass background check.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays.
