Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist who is looking for a great environment in a fast-growing company. The candidate will play a key role in our procure-to-pay process, ensuring vendor bills are recorded accurately, and paid timely.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable using Bill.com and NetSuite
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling vendor balances
  • Analyzing workflow processes and providing feedback on improvement opportunities
  • Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
  • Processing vendor bills for all practice locations and vendors

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Basic Excel Skills
  • GL accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with high volume transaction processing
  • Experience with NetSuite or comparable accounting software preferred
  • Ability to proactively solve problems using critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Required Education Certifications:

  • High School Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting a plus, but not required

Compensation:

This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Qualified candidates can expect an hourly rate beginning at $15 per hour or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
