What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves

Education/Requirements·

  • LPC, LMFT, LCSW in Colorado or able to transfer license to Colorado
  • Master’s degree in related field to behavioral health·
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer skills
  • Able to pass a drug test, WE DO NOT TEST for Marijuana
  • Able to pass a background and driving records checks
  • At least 21 years of age
  • One (1) year related experience working with children and adolescents with mental health problems and their families that includes assessment and counseling.

Responsibilities of the Position

Contribute to a high-performing culture, focused on partnering with clients as we inspire and empower change Provide therapeutic services, including delivery of assessments, conducting treatment planning, and coordinate clinical treatment services with families as well as ensure timely documentation of treatment for the billing team. The Primary Therapist is responsible for all aspects of their allocated case's clinical documentation, timely entries into the treatment record, and maintaining compliance with standards for documentation Participate in weekly clinical team meetings discussing treatment formulation, progress, regress and/or failure; lead discharge planning, discharge summaries, follow-up care and liaison communication Conduct client utilization reviews and medical necessity discussions with insurance payers, if necessary
