Job Description:
We are currently looking for a licensed Structural Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs with experience designing residential and commercial buildings. The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of structural inspections and designs, business development, reviewing work by others, and managing projects from beginning to end. Responsibilities will include developing new structural engineering work, guiding junior engineers and drafters on structural projects, project management, and completing quality designs. We currently have a strong structural engineering team in our Cañon City office and would like to create and grow a similar structural engineering team in our Colorado Springs office to complement our civil engineering team there.
Gotta Have It:
- Professional Engineering license in Colorado (or ability to transfer from another state within one month)
- 6+ years of structural engineering experience including the structural design of residential and commercial structures
- Proficiency in Enercalc or Revit
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Must be able to climb ladders, conduct structural inspections, and lift 30 pounds Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Bonus Points:
- Experience managing and building a team
- Experience designing in Colorado
- Experience designing a wide variety of foundation types
- Experience designing and inspecting horizontal structures
- Compensation & Benefits:
- $80,000-$110,000 Annual Salary
