Job Description

Full Time

Pay: Salary according to District approved Salary Schedule - Certified Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage students with disabilities
  • Supervise students in resource rooms or in the inclusion model
  • Collaborate with general special education staff
  • Assist with Response to Intervention


  • CDE License to teach Special Education with any or all Special Education Endorsements
  • Experience in working with students that have learning and/or physical disabilities
  • Successful completion of all mandated criminal background screenings and fingerprinting as required
  • Must be able to develop IEP goals/objectives and behavioral plans
  • Must communicate effectively using oral and written language
  • Demonstrate skills in literacy instructional strategies including diagnosis and prescription of appropriate interventions and supports
  • Must be trained in or willing to be trained in a method of crisis management and assume a crisis team leadership role
