Job Description

The Production Drywall Finishing Specialist brings an unerring standard of quality to Fading West that our customers expect in their homes. This individual joins our drywall finishing team and works along-side and helps hone the skills of those around them. This Individual adds an expertise to the team by working with our lead drywall specialist and helps aid production speed and quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists dry wall team and head drywall specialist to ensure quality finishes that meet the expectations of Fading West’s customers
• Performs drywall finishing tasks to support production needs
• Aids In mentoring other Production Specialist’s on drywall operations (mud, tape, sand)
• Determines areas of improvement in the drywall design and production process and works with head drywaller
• Performs all other production functions as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years previous professional experience with drywall finishing
• 2+ years previous experience with residential drywall applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational, planning, and documentation skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously

REQUIREMENTS

• This role requires signing a confidentiality agreement, intellectual property rights agreement, and non-compete and non-disclosure agreement
• Background check results that meet Fading West’s standards
• Reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicant
• May be required to regularly stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, lift, or carry more than 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Must be competent and comfortable in basic computer skills and navigating modern technology

COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate Range: $24.00 to $33.65 per/hour. (Rate commensurate with experience) Fading West rigorously adheres to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-201(1)
